Fit and sizing
Generous, designed for movement and airflow. Order true to size; a tight chef jacket is unbearable on a hot line.
Embroidery or print
Embroidery. It survives the wash cycle a kitchen runs; print generally will not last a season at those temperatures.
Washing and working life
Hot wash is normal and expected. Buy four or five per person rather than three, because the laundry cycle rather than the work sets the replacement rate.
