Kitting out healthcares: what actually matters
Where the work happens
Indoors, daily hot wash, infection-control expectations. Garments are laundered aggressively and replaced on a schedule rather than when they wear out.
Who you are kitting out
Care staff, nurses, domiciliary teams and managers. Colour is often used to distinguish role, which is worth deciding before ordering rather than after.
Which garments earn their place
Tunics as standard, scrubs where the setting calls for it, and a soft-touch polo for domiciliary staff who would rather not arrive in a client's home looking clinical.
Embroidery or print
Embroidery on the chest, kept small. Many settings want a first name embroidered too, which we can do per garment — worth deciding before the order rather than after.
Summer and winter
Domiciliary staff need an outer layer, because they are in and out of a car all day in winter. Residential staff rarely do.

Healthcare kit questions
Can we add staff names or role titles under the logo?
Yes — a name or role line (e.g. 'Senior Carer') counts as part of the front embroidery, no extra charge on standard text.
Do the tunics survive 60°C infection-control washes?
Yes — tunics and scrubs are specified for repeated high-temperature laundering; embroidery is colourfast at 60°C too.
Can different roles have different colours?
Yes — same bundle, different tunic colours per role is no extra cost. Tell us the colour split when you order.
