Kitting out cleanings: what actually matters
Where the work happens
Client premises, often out of hours, frequently unsupervised. Chemical exposure is the distinguishing factor — bleach marks are the most common reason a garment is retired early.
Who you are kitting out
Cleaning operatives, mobile teams and supervisors. Mobile teams travel between sites and are seen arriving, so they carry the brand more than anyone.
Which garments earn their place
Polos with a tabard over the top, which takes the chemical splash instead of the garment underneath. Cargo trousers, and a fleece or softshell for mobile staff moving between buildings.
Embroidery or print
Embroidery on the polos and outerwear. Print on tabards, since they are replaced more often and are the part that gets bleached.
Summer and winter
